Dr. Benjamin Remington
Meet Dr. Benjamin Remington
Dr. Remington is a neurological surgeon and serial entrepreneur, known for his expertise in healthcare devices, pharmaceuticals, and neuro-manufacturing. He is an inventor, investor, and founder of the hybrid investment fund NeuroStar, promoting human health and happiness. Dr. Remington has extensive experience navigating FDA trials and has practiced in Modesto, California, from 2001 to 2023. He holds an MD from the University of Utah, with residencies at the University of Utah and the University of Texas San Antonio. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a minor in Math and Chemistry. Dr. Remington is excited to bring his expertise to patients in the DFW area, where he currently resides.


Bruce Markman, MD

Bruce Markman, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine in Plano, Frisco and Tyler, Texas. He has over 20 years of experience with arthroscopies, shoulder reconstruction surgeries, and surgeries of the elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle.
Athletes and other patients of all ages continually return to Dr. Markman for his expertise as well as his ability to compassionately treat each patient as if they were family. In 2016 and 2017, D Magazine named him among the best doctors in Dallas.
Dr. Markman received his medical education at the State University of New York and at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. After graduating with his doctorate of medicine, he moved to California for his surgery internship at the University of California at San Francisco. He stayed in San Francisco for his residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Then, Dr. Markman moved to Manhattan Beach, California, to complete a fellowship at the West Coast Center for Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. During his fellowship, he focused on sports medicine, arthroscopy, and shoulder, foot, and ankle surgeries.
Throughout his years of experience, Dr. Markman has been the team physician for the Tulsa Oilers of the East Coast Hockey League and the Tulsa Shock of the Women’s National Basketball Association in Oklahoma. Today, he continues to give athletes and other patients the gift of an active, comfortable life.

Dr. Stanley specializes in the treatment of conditions and disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
A native Texan, Dr. Stanley received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his doctorate of medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma and his spine fellowship at Brown University.
Dr. Stanley has over 20 years’ experience, with interests in minimally invasive spine surgery, adult deformity, trauma, osteoporotic fractures, and disc replacement. He believes in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach to spine care and has the resources in place to diagnose and treat conditions of all parts of the spine. He and the other providers at North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine work closely together to quickly determine whether a treatment plan is effective.
Dr. Stanley’s goal is to get patients back to their normal lives as quickly as possible so they may resume an optimal quality of life. His patients appreciate his laid-back bedside manner as well as the personal care and attention he gives to each one of them.

Steve Hong, MD, is an anesthesiologist and ACGME fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician who provides his patients with a comprehensive and customized treatment experience. At North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine in Plano, Frisco and McKinney, Texas, he focuses on the unique needs of the individual to provide personalized pain management to every patient that he encounters.
Dr. Hong combines multiple modalities of therapy, including medication management, physical therapy, and lifestyle modification, with the full array of minimally-invasive interventions/procedures to maximize benefit to his patients' pain relief. However, his passion and primary focus lies in his dedication to optimizing functionality and quality of life for each and every patient he treats.
Dr. Hong has a deep understanding of both acute and chronic pain conditions. He diagnoses and treats patients of all ages and walks of life with an emphasis on patient education. This patient-centric approach enables his patients to fully understand the roadmap of treatment prior to embarking on the path to healing as a cohesive unit.
Dr. Hong received his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, located in the Texas Medical Center. After graduating with his doctorate of medicine, he moved back to Dallas for his residency in anesthesiology and pain management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. There, he also completed his fellowship in interventional pain management. Still, he maintains his commitment to learning by seeking out the most innovative and cutting-edge pain management techniques available.
As a native of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dr. Hong considers his duty to serve this community very seriously. Though his training has taken him all over the state, his fondness for this city and its people is his greatest motivator to make an unmistakable difference in his hometown.

Dr. Banerjee graduated with honors from Brown University and the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society. Dr. Banerjee completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Brown University.
Dr. Banerjee served in the United States Air Force and was assigned to work with the United States Army, treating injured patients and training orthopaedic residents at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. During his service, he was deployed to the War in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and treated many injured soldiers and civilians.
After completion of his military service, Dr. Banerjee joined the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern as Assistant Clinical Professor. While at UT Southwestern, Dr. Banerjee trained residents and fellows and provided care to patients with complex fractures and injuries at Parkland Memorial Hospital and UT Southwestern. In 2021, Dr. Banerjee joined the team at North Texas Orthopaedic and Spine.
Dr. Banerjee is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Howard Rosen Teaching Award from AO North America. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association. In addition, Dr. Banerjee has authored over 25 peer-reviewed publications and numerous textbook chapters on the treatment of orthopaedic problems.

Amir Malik, MD

Amir Malik, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in cranial, spinal, and peripheral neurology at North Texas Orthopaedic & Spine in Frisco, Texas. With a rich background in research, lectures, publications, and clinical work, Dr. Malik now brings his compassion and expertise to collaborate with his colleagues on providing top-notch neurological care.
Dr. Malik completed his undergraduate education at Pakistan Air Force Degree College in Peshawar, Pakistan. He remained in Pakistan for medical school at Punjab University Rawalpindi School of Medicine in Rawalpindi, where he also completed an internship in general surgery. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences in Islamabad, Pakistan.
After working for several years in Pakistan, Dr. Malik moved to the United States. He continued his training with rotations and an internal medicine internship at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. At the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington, he completed a general surgery internship and a fellowship in neurosurgery. He continued with a fellowship in skull base surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, before completing a residency in neurosurgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Throughout his years of training and the years since, Dr. Malik has held numerous clinical positions and has been an assistant professor in the department of neurosurgery at the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He is also active at multiple hospitals in the greater Houston, Texas, area.
Dr. Malik keeps up on the latest information in neurosurgery by maintaining memberships in the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Joint Section of Neurotrauma, the North American Spine Society, and the Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America.

Briana Hodgson , PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with over 20 years experience in orthopedic surgery. Briana was born and raised in upstate NY and received her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Daniel Kaminski is the Director of Physical Therapy and founder of Rise Physical Therapy. Daniel has been a practicing Physical Therapist in Outpatient settings for over 8 years. In this time he has accumulated experience in care for a wide range of diagnosis including post-operative care, acute orthopedic injury, motor vehicle accident, sports medicine, work related injuries, chronic pain, general weakness, balance issues, and complex neurological and vestibular disorders. Daniel is skilled in performance of joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, cupping, dry needling and taping techniques.
He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Cleveland State University and spent his early career practicing as a Traveling Physical Therapist, allowing him to accumulate experience in a variety of different settings across 7 different states. Throughout his career, Daniel has believed in gaining exposure to different clinical treatment methodologies in order to improve his own patient care across all demographics.
